At SiteTally, accessible from our mobile applications and web services, protecting your personal data and operational confidentiality is our top priority. This Privacy Policy details how SiteTally collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information in accordance with global privacy regulations and Google Play Developer Policies.
1. Information We Collect
SiteTally collects data necessary for delivering robust construction management capabilities, adhering strictly to Google Play Data Safety guidelines:
Full name, email address, mobile phone number, company affiliation, address, and login credentials.
Construction project profiles, worker attendance logs, material costs, supplier details, and measurements.
Network status (online/offline state), device type, operating system version, and system diagnostic logs.
Site photos, receipt invoices, avatar images, and exported Excel (`.xlsx`) reports.
2. Biometric Data Safeguards
SiteTally supports Biometric Authentication (Fingerprint and Facial Recognition) via system-level Android Biometric APIs for secure application unlocking.
Important Disclosure: Biometric raw data and templates are processed strictly inside the physical device's hardware Secure Enclave (TrustZone). SiteTally does NOT collect, capture, store, transmit, or share biometric templates with any remote cloud infrastructure or third parties.
3. Device Permissions Disclosures
To support application features, SiteTally requests standard Android runtime permissions:
Allows synchronization of project records with Firebase cloud services and user authorization.
Enables convenient biometric authentication for logging into the app on supported hardware.
Required to capture site images, attach material invoice receipts, update avatar photos, and download exported spreadsheets (`.xlsx`).
4. Third-Party Infrastructure & Data Processors
We work with trusted industry providers to host and secure application data:
- Google Firebase Authentication: Manages tokenized user identity verification. Raw passwords are never stored by SiteTally.
- Google Cloud Firestore & Storage: Hosts encrypted database collections and media files in cloud data centers.
- Transactional Email Services: Dispatches automated password reset links and account notifications.
5. Data Security & Encryption
We enforce industry-standard security safeguards including TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Local tokens are stored using secure encrypted storage plugins.
6. Account & Data Deletion (Google Play Compliance)
In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, we provide users with clear mechanisms to request the deletion of their account and all associated personal data. You do not need to have the app installed to request data deletion.
How to Request Account & Data Deletion:
Email Request (No app required)
Send an email to support@sitetally.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please send this from the email address associated with your account.
Data Retention and Deletion Process: Valid requests are processed within 30 days. Upon processing, your account credentials, workforce entries, material records, and all uploaded media will be permanently and irretrievably erased from our active databases. Certain transactional data may be retained solely for legal, tax, or regulatory compliance purposes.
7. Children's Privacy
SiteTally is exclusively intended for professional construction management and business operations. It is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
